BookMania is the Southern Tablelands Regional Library's reading club for children of primary school age.
1. To join all participants have to do is register at the library loans desk and have their own library card.
2. To participate you must have your own library card and borrow books that are at your reading level from any branch of the Southern Tablelands Regional Library.
3 You don’t just have to read fiction books you can also read junior non-fiction, magazines or listen to audio books.
4. Upon registration participants will receive a BookMania backpack with a reading log insdie. Use the reading log to list the items you have read from the library.
5. Throughout the reading log you will see that there is the opportunity to win a prize after reading a certain number of books. To claim your prize bring your reading log in to the library loans desk to pick up your prize.
6. Once you have completed this reading log, go to your local library and pick up another one.
7. BookMania members will receive a newsletter each term and have the opportunity to come to special events at the library through out the year.
8. BookMania will also be part of the Southern Tablelands Regional Library web site. Book reviews written by BookMania members will be published on the web site and in the BookMania newsletter.
9. When you review a book, your name will go into the draw to win a special prize at the end of the year.
10. BookMania is not a competition it is an opportunity for all involved to have fun through a variety of activities and events.
11. If you ever have any questions about BookMania or what to read next please talk to staff at your branch of the Southern Tablelands Regional Library. Remember the more books you read from your local library the more chances you have to win a prize.
